The MonaLisa Touch Laser procedure is used for the treatment of Vulvo-Vaginal Atrophy (VVA), also called Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM).

How MonaLisa Touch Works
Fractionated beams of light penetrate small areas of tissue. This creates small wounds in the epithelial layer of the vaginal mucous which triggers fibroblast activity which stimulates new collagen production. Treatment is virtually painless and the whole process only takes about 15-20 minutes. Treated women may enjoy a rapid improvement in vaginal lubrication even after the first treatment.
Recovery
Patients can resume normal activity as tolerated immediately after procedure.
Patients should refrain from vaginal sexual activity for 48 hours after treatment.
