Our Wellness Center Policies
Consultations and services are available by appointment. Upon booking, clients will be asked to use a credit card to guarantee the reservation.
Dr. Shel Wellness & Aesthetic Center has a 24-hour cancellation policy to allow other services to be offered at that time. A $50 fee will be charged to the credit card on file for missed appointments not cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance in addition to a charge of up to 50% of total treatment. Amounts in excess of $50 can be applied toward your next treatment.
All services, packages and pre-paid treatments are not subject to refunds. If a patient is not satisfied with any service be it rendered or un-rendered, the remaining balance can be used towards other services at Dr. Shel Wellness & Aesthetic Center.

Multiple testing methods may be used in your healthcare plan. Depending upon the testing requested and lab(s) being used turn-around time on results can range from 24 hours to 3 weeks. You will be contacted by the office when all of your test results are available for review with Dr. Shelena Lalji; however, we suggest you schedule your follow-up appointment to ensure appointment availability.
In order to focus primarily on our patients, our office does not file insurance claims. We do provide the necessary ICD-9 and CPT codes related to your reason for visit, symptoms, recommended testing, and treatments. This document is referred to as a superbill. When you are ready to file your claim with your insurance company, you will need to contact them for the appropriate documents. Thereafter, please send all documents including receipt of payment and superbill to the claims department for possible reimbursement depending on your individual health insurance plan. You are welcome to speak to your insurance company before performing any testing.
Please contact your pharmacy to request refills. Refill requests may take up to 72 hrs to complete. Please allow both our office and the pharmacy the requested time to process your refill request.
