How Coolsculpting Works *

Coolsculpting is an FDA cleared treatment that permanently removes fat from areas of that are resistant to diet and exercise. Coolsculpting typically takes only 1 treatment to see up to a 30% reduction in the fat layer and does not requires anesthesia, surgery or downtime and the results improve over 2-3 months’ time.

Over 170,000 Coolsculpting treatments have been performed with excellent efficacy and safety with amazing results. The treatment works by freezing unwanted fat cells which then crystallize and are naturally eliminated from the body through the lymphatic system. Some results can be noticed shortly after the treatment but, the final results are realized 2-3 months afterwards. Ideal candidates have areas of bulging resistant fat that does not improve with diet and/ or exercise and are healthy patients who seek a non-invasive treatment to resolve these areas. The treatments are extremely tolerable and post-treatment side effects are minimal but can include: inflammation, numbness, tingling sensation, and bruising, and generally resolve on their own within a couple weeks.

The CoolSmooth is a flat applicator that can be used in areas that are hard to suction such as the outer thigh, and the CoolMini is designed to address the submental areas, or “double chin”.
