12 Days of Wellness, Day 3: Take a Walk

Incorporating a quick walk into your day, though may seem minimal, can actually make a great impact on your health. Just one 20-30 minute walk per day can help you lose or manage weight, prevent high blood pressure, strengthen your bones, and improve muscle tone.

During the winter months, it’s typically cooler, which means it’s a little easier to get outside during the day and even enjoy a little natural vitamin D this way, too.

I challenge you to find an extra 20 minutes in your day to take advantage of the many benefits of a quick walk, even if it’s on your lunch break or after dinner.
