The Science Behind Coolsculpting

You absolutely can! The science behind CoolSculpting is a process called Cryolipolysis, which is based on research out of Harvard University. Cryolipolysis is when fat cells are exposed to freezing temperatures for an extended period of time, causing them to go through apoptosis (which is natural cell death). The body’s lymphatic system will then eliminate the fat from the body.

With CoolSculpting there are no incisions, no needles and no scars. Only the targeted fat cells will be frozen, preserving the health of nearby tissues.
